Nest & Garden Co. is a woman-owned, queer-owned, BIPOC-owned small business rooted in care—for people, places, and all the creatures we share space with.​

I’m a Mexican-American citizen and a lifelong learner with a deep respect for nature, land, family, and different cultures. I bring that perspective into my work every day: showing up prepared, communicating honestly, and treating each home, garden, and project with respect. Clients describe me as hardworking, caring, and creative — I’m also, unapologetically, a total nature nerd.

I’m the person who carefully relocates spiders before painting a room, checks for bird nests before mowing, and encourages clients to leave certain plants standing through winter to provide shelter for native birds and pollinators. I believe outdoor spaces don’t need to be stripped bare to be cared for— working with nature almost always leads to better outcomes for humanity.
